Abinsi specializes in building solutions that support data exchange between organizations (for example electronic health records, telehealth, electronic learning records). These solutions typically involve multiple vendors and participation from industry stakeholders. Abinsi is involved with several collaborative initiatives that bring researchers, industry, and markets together to develop innovative products and services.
Exampes of our collaborative activities include:
- Abinsi's associate network that enables our ability to bring the right skills to projects at the right time.
- Sponsorship of the industry-led Open-Health initiative (www.open-Health.ca) that promotes the exchange of heath information between existing EMR, workflow, telehealth, and decision support tools.
- Support of the Digital Solutions Alliance (www.DigitalSolutionsAlliance.com), an edmonton-based business collaborative designed to accelerate commercialization of primary research developed by universities and private research groups. Patrick Binns, president of Abinsi, is the co-chair of the DSA.
- Developing investor networks to faciliate angel and venture funding of projects.
- Developing mentoring networks to develop skills of our next generation of leaders.
- Suppport of the PMI Northern Alberta Chapter.
